October 2019 – These are exciting times for the Wheels O’ Time Museum! We have committed to an expansion plan and a significant artifact restoration plan so that we can continue our mission of preserving the past for the enjoyment and education of future generations. Plans for our new exhibition building and major projects are highlighted in the linked documents (Building on Our Past – Summary Plans, Building on Our Past – Detailed Plans). We have launched the Building on Our Past capital campaign since these growth plans come at no small cost to the Wheels O’ Time Museum.
We have been given a generous challenge grant opportunity by the Gilmore Foundation to help us raise needed funds and broad support for our new exhibition building and to restore and showcase our current artifacts, including the treasured Pullman train cars that were host to many a memorable occasion at Vonachen’s Old Place. This challenge grant allows for gifts of up to $10,000 per donor household, made to the capital campaign after August 2019, to be matched fully.
We hope that you share our enthusiasm and will join with us in this ambitious and vital effort to ensure that our past is preserved for future generations to learn from and enjoy.
Donor levels:
Preservation Society ($5,000 to $10,000 and above)
Gallery Society ($2,500 to $4,999)
Artifact Society ($500 to $2,499)
Curator Society (Up to $500)
All donations are welcome and appreciated
